Hello and welcome to the start of a new series on my blog! I've decided that since I'm the worst at posting monthly favourites, I would start this instead. Every so often, when I have a set of products I'm reaching for more than others, I'll come here to tell you about them. A lot of other bloggers do this, so I figured I would start too. So here's to the first! Hope you enjoy.

It would be wrong to do a post like this without mentioning Properly Clean and Face Hero. I've been reaching for both so often since I got them, and for good reason. Not only is the packaging cute, but the stuff inside is even better. I haven't had a single breakout over the last month (watch me get a tonne now after saying this) and I'm sure Properly Clean is playing a part in it. My last post before this was a review of Go-To skincare if you want a little more info.

I've been trying out a few products from Paula's Choice and really enjoying them. The Skin Recovery Enriched Calming Toner* has been one of my favourites of the bunch. I've been using it after showering at night and it's such a quick and easy way to add an instant boost of hydration. I started trying out the Daintree AHA Brightening Mask* and the Uluru Purifying Mask* from Dr Roebucks around the same time and I've really been liking both. I really love how their products are named after Australian places and things, plus they're the most travel-friendly masks I own, which is a total bonus.

For makeup, I've been very into focusing on my complexion. I've been loving lighter coverage over my face and only building up coverage where it's needed. The It Cosmetics CC Cream and the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear have been the two foundations I've been reaching for the most. Neither are new to me, but that doesn't make them any less exciting. I usually go for the CC Cream of a weekend, it's dewy finish always makes my skin look plump and healthy. The Lancome base is what I tend to gravitate towards for work. I'll spread one pump around my face and add another half pump or so to build coverage on my cheeks. It's more matte than the CC Cream, but still lightweight enough that it never looks heavy.

Any subscriber of Samantha Ravndahl will have most likely heard of the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand*. I was expecting to love it before I tried it and I wasn't let down. It has a very light texture that looks undetectable once blended out. I'm all about cream and liquid bronzers, and this one is one of the best. The packaging is a little fussy, but I don't even care because it looks so good once applied.

I've mentioned Rum Punch from Tarte's Colour Splash lipstick line a few times, but it's been in high rotation again lately. It's creamy but doesn't slip or slide. It has a matte finish but never dries my lips. The shade is the perfect nude on me. It stays on for hours and fades evenly. It's a magical lipstick that I can't recommend highly enough.
