Empties - Products I've Used Up | 005

Hello and welcome to my fifth empties post! They're always my favourites write and to read from other bloggers too. I love seeing what items people like enough to use up, or that they hate-use their way through. It's also really freeing to finally be able to throw out all of this rubbish that I've been keeping in my drawers for a few months.

You might notice my photos looks a little different compared to normal in this post. On Sunday when I was setting up to take pictures I discovered that my soft boxes had broken. It was too late to buy new ones and it was such an overcast day. I did the best I could, and I actually don't hate how they look. Kind of cosy in a way. I still haven't replaced them, so if you have any lighting recs let me know! I'm torn on whether to replace them or try a ring light instead. Anyway, on to the empties:
SKINCARE

SUNDAY RILEY | LUNA SLEEPING NIGHT OIL | $154 AUD
I was so upset to finish this. I actually held off on the last couple of uses because I didn't want it to end. This makes such a difference to my skin. It reduces the appearance of pores, takes away redness/discolouration and smooths my skin too. This one was just a mini but it still lasted me about three months. Would I repurchase? Yep. The moment I can justify spending that much on skincare I will.

CLINIQUE | TAKE THE DAY OFF CLEANSING BALM | $55 AUD
I've spoken about this in previous empties posts, and I stand by everything I've ever said. This is the best makeup remover I've ever used and a really nice first step cleanser. It gets every speck of product off, and it lasts a relatively long time. Would I repurchase? I had a backup ready to go and I'm currently using it up.

IT COSMETICS | CONFIDENCE IN A CREAM | $48 USD
I'm still yet to find a moisturiser that I like more than this one. I have pretty dry skin so it's thick consistency works for me. Citrus scents are my favourites, and the slightly lemony one this has is delightful. It really does a great job of keeping my skin plump and hydrated all day. Would I repurchase? Yes. I still want to try a few others but it's only a matter of time before I pick this up again.

I really fell in love with this eye cream. It was so nourishing, my undereyes never looked better. It sits well under makeup, too. A little goes a long way with this pot and I was surprised that I had this for almost a year. Would I repurchase? Definitely. Like the moisturiser above, I want to try some others first but I'll for sure come back to it one day.

THE ORDINARY | BUFFET | $24.90 AUD
I use this serum every other morning, so it wasn't shocking that I ran through it pretty quickly. This is my second bottle and I'm still really liking it. It's a good little anti-ageing product that doesn't break the bank. Would I repurchase? I ordered a backup online and was send three instead of one, so expect to see these pop up in my next few empties posts.

L'OREAL | PURE CLAY MASK: CHARCOAL | $19.99 AUD
This is what, my second or third tub of this mask? I can't quite remember but I always seem to get through them quickly. This mask is great for when your skin is feeling a little congested. I usually apply it to my nose, chin and the parts of my cheeks where pores are most visible. Would I repurchase? I always pick one of these up when they're on sale.

MAKEUP

MAC | PREP + PRIME FIX + | $36 AUD
I mean, is anyone actually surprised to see Fix+ in one of my empties posts? I use it almost daily as a finishing spray and I love how much more natural it makes my skin look. It's also nice for amping up a metallic eyeshadow, or just a general face refresh. Would I repurchase? I'm actually almost finished with the replacement. I've been waiting to write this post so I can Back 2 Mac it.

Base products are the only ones that I regularly finish up. This is one of my favourites. It's medium-buildable coverage is ideal for me. The "natural matte" finish that it claims to have don't make me look dry. It just works for my skin. It was my first ever liquid foundation, I can't even tell you how many bottles I've been through. Would I repurchase? I just opened a fresh bottle.

COVERGIRL | THE SUPER SIZER MASCARA | $17.95 AUD
I really enjoyed this mascara! I picked it up after seeing @wellnessbykels talk about it and wanted to give it a shot. It gave really great length, a little volume and didn't budge throughout the day. Would I repurchase? Possibly one day. There are too many others I want to try for now, though.

L'OREAL | TELESCOPIC MASCARA | $26.95 AUD
This one gave a similar effect to the Covergirl one, but the applicator didn't work as well for my lashes. I think the telescope design of the packaging is adorable, but I got it on sale and didn't realise how crazy the price is. Would I repurchase? No. It was fine, but I have others I prefer. And not for almost thirty dollars.

BODY & HAIR

BATISTE | EDEN DRY SHAMPOO | $9.99 AUD
Batiste are well known for making affordable and good quality dry shampoo. I almost always have a can somewhere in my house. It takes away any greasiness and gives a little volume to my hair. Would I repurchase? Yep, I usually stock up on dry shampoo when they're on sale. I have a lot of the Klorane one right now, but I'll eventually grab some more of this.

LUSHDIRTY SPRINGWASH | $9.50 AUD
I was so on the fence about this one. Some days I found the scent refreshing and other days I hated it. My boyfriend picked it out and he loved it, but it's not one I ever would have reached for. Also, this might be super nit-picky, but I found the cap really annoying. To get it open I'd either hurt my thumb or ruin my nails. Would I repurchase? No, this one is not for me.

And that's all for this edition! What products have you recently finished up? Or is there something that you're struggling to get through? I know I have a few of those in my collection.
