The Best 5 Spring Blushes

Winter is finally over! Even though here in Melbourne the weather hasn't really changed yet, I'm still so happy that it will be warming up soon! Even though I've been hit with the cold from hell this week, I wanted to share my favourite blushes for this time of year with you. Just because I'm not wearing makeup right now doesn't mean I'm going to stop talking about it all day long.
The Hourglass blushes are some of my favourites. They have the most beautiful marbled detail that I'm sure you've heard everyone rave about by now. My Ethereal Glow is a light, cool pink shade. As all of the Hourglass blushes have a different amount of colour in them, most would probably end up being a brighter shade than mine. This one is my go-to when I want a light and healthy flush to my cheeks.

Becca Beach Tint Shummer Souffle in Guava/Moonstone
These blushes are a real delight. They're a little firmer than the Colourpop blushes, but so easy to use. A mix of their Beach Tints and Shimmering Skin Perfectors, they are lightweight and radiant. Guava/Moonstone is a gorgeous warm pink infused with their famous Moontstone highlight. So good for a quick weekend look. They seem to be disapearing from the internet, so I can only assume they're being discontinued. Definitely pick one up while you still have a chance!

This blush is my holy grail. Although I show it love throughout the whole year, during spring I find it hard to put down. It's a gorgeous matte pale peachy-pink that looks so beautiful on fair skin tones. Because it is such a light shade I can really build it up, it's one of the only blushes I don't have to be careful with when applying!

Dandelion is such a classic spring time blush. It adds a real liveliness to the face and can make even the sleepiest person look awake. Although Benefit's boxed blushes packaging is a little bulky for my taste, this one is so worth the space it takes up. I've had Dandelion for a few years now and it still performs as if it's brand new.

A beautiful warm pink with a subtle golden sheen. This blush has been one of my favourite purchases this year. I've done a full review here and my thoughts on it haven't changed. For something so affordable, it really can't be beat. This is definitely a blush that will see me through all spring (and most likely summer too).

Thank you so much for reafing! Do you tend to rotate your makeup seasonally? I use most of my products year round, but I definitely gravitate towards different products based on the weather.

  2. My holy grail blush for all year round is the NARS Orgasm blush. I love the look of your Hourglass blush however. I might swatch it next time I see it in store! And now I want to try the NARS Sex Appeal blush too!

    1. I love Orgasm! It's such a gorgeous shade. The Milani one I've listed here is really silimar on my skintone. Sex Appeal is so worth a swatch, I'm in love with it x

  3. Milani really makes some beautiful blushes, and Blossomtime Rose is no exception! I can see myself wearing that year round! I tend to get lazy and wear most of my products year round, with the exception of lipsticks.

  5. I'm a huge fan of the Becca Beach Tint in Guava but I've not tried the souffle version. I might have to try and pick this one up when I get paid!
